TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED PRESSURE TRANSDUCER ABSTRACT Apparatus for measuring the pressure in a confined fluid. A pressure transducer senses the fluid pressure and produces an output signal representative of the fluid pressure. Temperature control means are provided to maintain the temperature of the pressure transducer near a selected temperature. The temperature control means includes means for raising and lowering the temperature of the pressure transducer. Preferably, the temperature control means comprises a Peltier effect device. The apparatus may also be used to determine the weight of a load supported by a confined fluid since the fluid pressure is representative of the weight of the load.
