Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to novel carboxamido derivatives of 5-oxo- 5H-1,3,4-thiadiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidines of formula I Image and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. Typical values of RI in- clude hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl, pyridyl and morpholino. Typical values of R2 include hydrogen and methyl. Typical values of R3 include pyridyl, thiazolyl and benzothiazolyl. The compounds display valuable anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. The compounds have a high therapeutic index.
