-19- ABSTRACT A coffee machine on which a boiler, heated by means of an electric heating source, presents a lower and an upper pipe designed to communicate respectively with a water outlet connected to a filter cup for containing coffee powder, and with a steam outlet. A distribution chamber with an exhaust outlet connects the lower pipe on the boil- er to the water outlet; and a switch device is assembled inside the distribution chamber in such a manner as to move between at least two positions for selectively con- necting the water outlet once with the exhaust outlet and once with the lower pipe.
