SLEEPER SOFA MATTRESS Abstract of the Invention A sofa bed mattress is disclosed. The mattress may be extended to provide a sleeping surface, and may be folded about transverse flexure lines for storage within a sofa or other configuration. The sofa bed mattress includes an inner spring unit and an overlying top cushion. The top cushion is secured to the inner spring unit substantially along the transverse flexure lines so that the position of the top cushion relative to the inner spring unit is substantially maintained when the mattress is folded.
