ABSTRACT SUBSTITUTED 2,4-DIALKOXY BENZENE SULFONYL CHLORIDES The invention relates to a process for preparing trisubstitu- ted sulfohalides. The trisubstituted sulfohalides according to the in- vention and corresponding to the general following formula : Image (I) wherein X represents a halogen, R3 and R4 can represent a methyl group, A can represent a halogen, can be prepared by using an arylamine of formula : Image (V) from which the diazonium salt is formed by the action of halogenated acid on the amine in the presence of an alkali metal nitrite at a tem- perature lower than 10 and then by reacting the diazonium salt with sulfur dioxide.
