A method of immobilizing physiologically active substances on an inorganic support, comprising treating an inorganic support with an aminoalkylalkoxysilane having the general formula (RO)3SiCH2CH2CH2NH(CH2)nNH2 wherein, R is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n is an integer having a value of 5 to 12, and chemically bonding said physiologically active substance by means of an amino group to said support.
