ABSTRACT The specification is directed to a thermal break device for storm doors or the like. Two separate frame members are interconnected by a rigid foamed-in-place plastic material.This plastic material may be reinforced by various means to increase its strength and rigidity.One of the frame members has a convexly curved surface to increase its strength and to improve its appearance. The reinforcing means is a plastic or wire mesh, a perforated plastic strip or a pair of elongated members interconnected by a lattice work. The plastic material is locked in place by protrusions which form pockets which capture the material.
