ABSTRACT a clamp for supporting a plurality of horizontally spaced highway guard cables against a wooden post, such clamp comprising a plate member presenting a flat portion and a plurality of spaced apart recesses adapted to freely slidingly retain said plurality of highway guard cables against said post respectfully, said plate member including a series of apertures staggered along two opposing edges thereof, said apertures adapted to receive nails for fastening said clamp to said post so as to minimized splitting of said wooden posts.
