ABSTRACT A broom for sweeping floors and the like. The broom has a frame and a handle with straws fixed to one side of the frame and the handle fixed to the side of the frame remote from the straws. The straws terminating in a plane disposedat an acute angle to the handle so that the handle is disposed at an angle equal to the natural angle for sweeping the end of the straw thereby providing a convenient angle for sweeping without unevenly distorting the broom straws.
