AIR WARMING DEVICE TO FACILITATE BREATHING Abstract of the Disclosure An air warming device to facilitate breathing com- prising an air warming chamber of flexible thin wall constric- tion and preferably including a plurality of cells adjacent to each other having a relatively broad surface area and rela- tively shallow depth for placing against the chest region o. the person using the device to warm air which is taken into the chambers of the cells. Each cell has a relatively large opening at the bottom end and a relatively smaller opening at the upper end. A first manifold member is secured to the bottom of the plurality of cells, having an open wall adjacent to the bottom openings of the cells, and a single relatively small opening in the opposite wall of the manifold for air from the outside to enter this first manifold member whereupon the air is distributed to the bottom openings of each of the cells making up the warming chamber. Body heat from the user warms the air in the warming chamber. A second manifold member is secured to the upper end of the warming chamber enclosing the top openings of each of the cells. The second manifold member also includes an open wall adjacent to the top openings of the plurality of cells and a single small opening in the opposite wall of this second manifold member. A breathing tube extends from this single small opening in the second manifold member to a breathing mask placed over the user's nose. When the user inhales, warmed air is drawn from the warm- ing chamber to the breathing mask for the user to breath warmed air. The breathing mask includes exhaust valve means to enable exhaled air to escape to the outside when the user exhales. A section of insulating material is placed over the outwardly facing wall of the warming chamber to aid in retain- ing the warmth of the air therein as it is warmed by the body heat of the user. This device is particularly beneficial for
