The device comprises a laminated wall surrounding a compartment containing a drug with a passageway through the wall for dispensing the drug from the device. The laminated wall comprises three laminae, an inner semipermeable lamina, a middle lamina containing a salt of a fatty acid and an outer enteric lamina.
