ELECTRONIC UNITED PARCEL SERVICE REGISTER Abstract of the Disclosure An electronic parcel register has a control module, an accounting module and a printing module which cooperate with one another to initiate printing and account for the printing operation. The register is capable of providing a COD tape as well as a postage tape which would be attached to packages to be shipped. A parcel identification number (PIN) is printed on the postage tape to indicate the number of parcels sent by use of a given register and the same PIN is printed on an accompanying COD tape. The amount printed on the COD tape selectively may be a set amount or any other amount required.
