ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multiple audio signal processing system is disclosed which comprises a composite system which is the combination of a digital audio tape recorder (DAT) and a compact disc player (CD), a signal path controller, and a system controller, wherein the signal path controller selects one signal among a signal from the CD, a digital signal and an analog signal from external sources to supply the selected signal to the DAT, and also selects one signal among signals from the CD and the DAT to output the selected signal in the form of a digital or analog signal under the control of the system controller, and the composite system receives one signal among the signal from the CD, the digital and analog signals form external sources, to record the received signal on a tape in the DAT under the control of the system controller.
