PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne un procédé de soudure par laser de deux pièces métalliques qui présentent entre elles un jeu mécanique. Ce procédé est caractérisé par un double tir laser. Un premier tir laser, effectué avec un premier retrait par rapport à la face latérale d'une pièce effondre un ruban de métal qui entre en contact avec le métal de l'autre pièce. Un second tir laser, effectué avec un second retrait, inférieur au premier retrait, échauffe les deux pièces et forme un joint de soudure. Ce procédé trouve application notamment aux boîtiers d'encapsulation de circuits électroniques, dont le couvercle est inséré dans le boîtier.
