- 1 - ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE CORROSION PROTECTION The invention relates to a half cell for use in determining potential differences in a building structure, comprising a body for containing a supersaturated electrolyte such as copper sulphate solution, the body having a part which contains the electrolyte and an absorbent part which provides a surface for contacting the structure and which provides at least part of the boundary surface of the first-mentioned part, and an electrode which extends into the electrolyte.
