ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The invention pertains to a procedure of electro- analytical determination, which enables the achievement of higher sensitivity. In particular the invention relates to a method for electroanalytical determination of an electro- chemically active compound in solution in procedures, where the current of electrolysis or the potential of mercury drop, which is extruded from a capillary tube into the measured solution, is measured against a reference electrode, which method consists in measuring the current or potential on one and the same pulsating mercury drop which size is varied during the measurement in such a way that mercury is extruded from a capillary tube and retracted back to its original size in the frequency of 0.1 to 100 cycles per second. The invention can be utilized both in laboratory and industry.
