ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed are additives which are useful as dispersants in lubricating oils, gasolines, marine crankcase oils and hydraulic oils. In particular, disclosed are polyamino alkenyl or alkyl succinimides in which one or more of the nitrogens of the polyamino moiety is substituted with a hydrocarbyl oxycarbonyl, a hydroxyhydrocarbyl oxycarbonyl or a hydroxy poly(oxyalkylene) oxycarbonyl.
