PRODUCTION OF LUBRICANT AND/OR HEAVY DISTILLATE RANGE HYDROCARBONS BY LIGHT OLEFIN UPGRADING ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A continuous process for upgrading lower olefin feedstock to higher hydrocarbons. Olefinic feedstock is combined with a diluent stream comprising C5 + olefins, and then contacted with a shape selective medium pore acid zeolite catalyst in a reactor zone to convert olefins to heavier products. The reactor effluent is heated and separated in a high temperature phase separator (26). At least some of the vapor phase is recycled.
