CYCLOALIPHATIC DIISOCYANATES, OPTIONALLY IN THE FORM OF ISOMERIC MIXTURES AND A PROCESS FOR THEIR PREPARATION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A diisocyanate corresponding to the formula Image in which R1, R2, R3, m and n are as defined here- in is prepared by phosgenating a diamine corresponding to the formula Image in which R1, R2, R3, m and n are as defined here- in. The diisocyanate may contain C1-C12-monoalkyl- substituted methylene-bis-(cyclohexylisocyanate) isomers in an amount of up to 40 wt %. These new diiso- cyanates which are liquid at room temperature and com- patible with polyols are particularly useful in the production of polyurethanes.
