ANTI-RATTLE SPRING FOR A DISC BRAKE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disc brake (10) comprises a caliper (12) slidably supported on a torque support member (20) for movement relative thereto, the caliper (12) having a bridge (16) extending across the disc (40) to an axially outer portion (18). Friction pad members (34, 36) are supported radially by a pair of pins (70) connected to the inner (14) and outer portions (18) of the caliper (12). Each pin (70) has a groove (80) located adjacent an end thereof, one groove (80) of each pin (70) receiv- ing an associated annular-shaped loop (92) of an anti- rattle spring (90). The anti-rattle spring (90) extends diagonally across the friction pad members (34, 36) to form a substantially Z-shaped anti-rattle spring (90).
