- 20 - MATERIAL TRANSFER DEVICE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An auger assembly is secured across the back of a truck box and communicates with the tail gate discharge. It augers grain or other comminuted material into a hopper which may then have a further conventional grain auger ex- tending therefrom for filling grain storage tanks, seed drills and the like. A further auger assembly may be en- gaged over the discharge end of the first auger assembly and clamped thereto in adjustable radial relationship to the longitudinal axis of the first auger assembly. This further auger assembly has a swivel connection at the up- per end thereof connected to the discharge and a flexible hose extension connected to the swivel connection so that it can be used to load air seeders, high drills or the like. A telescopic conduit may be secured to the distal end of the flexible hose, if desired.
