69713-37 ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The present disclosure relates to a removable float cover for a floatable fish cage. The cover includes a round frame, a pair of semi-octagon shaped caps each having a plurality of parallel slots disposed therein and latch blocks, all of which are made of plastic materials having a specific gravity less than 1, such as PE (polyethylene) or PP (polypropylene), and produced by way of integral injection molding and having hollow form structures, so that the float cover is buoyant in water. The central portion of the round frame has an octagon-shaped opening for the disposition of the paired caps, and a pair of inclined stop plates disposed for limiting downward movement of the pivoted caps to a maximum angle of about 75° with respect to the horizontal plane. The stop plates are symmetrically located under the round frame at the cap mounting sides. Two sets of paired latch blocks used to selectively lock the upward and downward pivotable caps are symmetrically disposed on the top and bottom sides of the round frame whereat the two caps are separately operated.
