ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A fish wrapper made from a layer of paperboard coated on both sides with a material which is impermeable to air and moisture. The inner surface of the wrapper is slit in many places through the coating, and partway into the paperboard layer, providing pathways for air into the pores of the paperboard layer. A method for making the wrapper is also disclosed.
