ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A toothed bar, for disturbing shellfish from the sea bed for collection in net or chain belly, is secured to frame by means of resiliently deformable blocks which allow the toothed bar to undergo resilient movement to ride over obstacles on the sea bed. The lower end of each block to which the toothed bar is secured, is encased in a metal cap to reduce wear. The block is held between metal plates the rear one of which is curved outwardly at its bottom end to allow the required degree of rearward flexure of the block. The invention provides advantages of operation particularly in reducing the risk of damage or loss due to obstacles on the sea bed.
