LASER SCALPEL PROVIDED WITH A SAFETY DEVICE Abstract of the Disclosure: A laser scalpel provided with a safety device which comprises a group of detectors and a signal-processing system is disclosed. The group of detectors includes a grounding disconnection detector which serves to detect disconnection of a laser scalpel power source out of the earth and a current leakage detector which serves to detect a current leakage between an optical duct for a laser beam and a casing. The signal-processing system serves to receive signals emitted from the above two detectors and output signals for operating an alert system and a laser power source breaker whichever of the above two detectors sends signals.
