ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention describes the use of some Mannich bases as photosensitizers for iodonium salts for use in the initiation of free radical polymerization of vinyl monomers. These Mannich bases are unexpectedly more efficient as photosensitizers than are the conventional photosensitizers.
