A cross-linked resin produced by heating a mixture of (a) a bis(2-oxazoline) compound, (b) an aromatic polyamine compound which has at least two amino groups in the molecule and (c) a polyepoxy compound which has at least two epoxy group in the molecule at elevated temperatures, preferably in the presence of an oxazoline ring-opening polymerization catalyst. The resin shows a high mechanical strength and toughness, a very small water absorption and a very high resistance to heat.
