ABSTRACT: "Method of and device for generating differentially enhanced images". The invention relates to a method of and a device for generating differentially enhanced images in which the effect of fluctuations of the X-ray pulse or the gain of the images intensifier/image pick up tube network on the differential image is eliminated. To achieve this, the peak value is determined for each X-ray image in order to be stored in a fixed location in a memory. The difference between the logarithms of the peak values is added to the differential image, so that said fluctuations are compensated for.
