ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention is directed to improvements in a pump having a pump cover and a hydrostatic bearing. In particular, the invention provides a radially slotted keyway spacer ring for providing alignment between the bearing and the cover. The ring has a plurality of equally spaced apart holes and at least four slots equally radially spaced apart and radially oriented.
