ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A concrete chimney cap is covered by a protecting sheeting which overlies all its normally-exposed surfaces, also including the surface of the cap hole for the paasage of the chimney smoke duct. The sheeting is used as a mold for fabricating the concrete cap, and this mold remains in position on the cap and adheres thereto.
