BRUSH CAP FOR ELECTRIC MOTOR Abstract of the Disclosure The construction of an electric motor having electrical contact brushes slidably mounted in a brush housing includes a plurality of separate brush retaining caps, each cap having an attachment portion to secure the cap to the brush housing, and resilient cap retention means comprising a resilient tongue portion removeably engaging a recess in the brush housing when slidably inserted therein, interengaging lip means of the attachment portion secure the end of the cap remote from the tongue portion to the housing, and positioning ribs on the underside of the cap contact an end ring of the respective contact brush compression spring.
