ABSTRACT An inflatable pool which comprises a base member made of a gas-impervious, heat sealable material having an bounding edge, and a hollow, inflatable, upright encircling wall made of a gas impervious heat sealable material and having its bottom end connected to the edge of the base member. The wall includes at least one upright encircling exterior sheet means and at least one upright interior sheet means which is enclosed by the exterior sheet means and heat sealed thereto along spaced apart upright heat seal seams, the heat seal seams dividing the wall into a plurality of elongated air compartments and including first heat seal seams at the inner side of the wall, and second heat seams which are at the outer side of the wall and offset with respect to the first seams, the wall further including a continuous seal free upper portion at the top side of the wall.
