These compounds find use in the preparation of herbicidal and plant growth regulating sulfonyl- ureas, of which the compound N-(2-chlorophenyl-sulfonyl)-N'-(4-methoxy-6 methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl) urea is exemplary.
