MANUFACTURE OF SEALING CLOSURES FOR A TELECOMMUNICATIONS CABLE SPLICE Abstract of the Disclosure In a low pressure mold comprising two mold halves, there are two sealing members provided at each end of the mold. Each sealing member has in series edge regions around a body of the sealing member and each edge region is formed with a semi-circular sealing edge. The sealing edges of each sealing member lie at different radii and each sealing edge has a radius such that it will form a circular seal with a respective sealing edge of the other sealing member at the same end of the mold. Preferably, the sealing members are disposed at equal distances from a common center and each sealing member is pivotally attached to its associated mold half so as to be adjustable in position to bring cooperating sealing edges of the two sealing members into corresponding and sealing relationship around a cable. - i -
