A PROCESS FOR PREPARING NEW (l-OXO-2-PYRIDYL) DISULFIDES Abstract of the Disclosure Selected new (l-oxo-2-pyridyl) disulfides, which are prepared using this invention, are used as active ingredients in animal feed compositions to increase the growth and feed efficiency of monogastric animals. Useful new compounds are 2-carboxyphenyl (1-oxo-2-pyridyl) disulfide and 2-carboxyethyl (1-oxo-2-pyridyl) disulfide.
