ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A method for determining allergenic sensitivity of a mammal is disclosed. The method involves measur- ing the time required for hemostasis of a blood sample with an allergen in the presence of a blood clotting inhibitor and comparing the time required for hemo- stasis in the presence of a blood clotting inhibitor and the absence of the allergen. The sensitivity to the allergen is determined by determining the dif- ference in time required for hemostasis.
