ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An organopolysiloxane composition which has improved adhesion and is curable at an elevated temperature in the presence of atmospheric moisture is provided herein. The composition includes (a) an organopolysiloxane having an average of at least two terminal hydroxyl groups per molecule; (b) an organosilicon compound containing aliphatic unsaturation and having an average of at least two hydrolysable groups per mole- cule, the hydrolysable groups being linked to a silicon atom of the organosilicon compound and being selected from the group con- sisting of acyloxy groups, aminoxy groups, amine groups, acyl- amine groups, oxime groups, and mixtures and partial hydrolyzates thereof having from 2 to 10 silicon atoms per molecule; (e) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having an average of at least one silicon-bonded hydrogen atom per molecule and a viscosity of from 10 to 500,000 mPa.s at 25°C; and (d) a platinum catalyst. The resultant composition may be heated to an elevated temperature to form an elastomer.
