ABSTRACT There is disclosed an automatic control means connected to the house telephone system and a lamp or buzzer. In a house emergency, the user will typically dial an emergency number, for example, "911". Upon such a dial, the automatic control means will automatically activate the lamps or buzzers, which will assist emergency personnel in locating the house. The invention may also be used to automatically perform important functions in other environments, such as automatically unlocking the doors of a warehouse.
