ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The polyfunctional vinylbenzyl ethers of the formula: Image (I) wherein Ar is an aromatic nucleus of from 6 to 24 carbon atoms, X is a halogen moiety, R is hydrogen or an alkyl group of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, n is an integer of at least 1; o is an integer of at least 2 and p is the remaining number of sites available on the aromatic nucleus which are not substituted with the halogen or oxygen containing moiety are prepared. These polyfunctional vinylbenzyl ethers can be copolymerized with polycyanate ester compounds to provide copolymers having dielectric constants below 3 and a V-O rating in a UL-94 test.
