ABSTRACT A rear view mirror for a vehicle having a single unitary unitary body structure having a front wall, a perimeter wall around the front wall, a partition extending vertically between inner and outer portions. support surfaces on the partition, support ledges on the inner side of the perimeter wall, a plurality of support ribs in the inner portion and in the outer portion, formed integral. with the fromt wall, the free edges of the ribs in the inner portion defining a generally convex contour. and the free edges of the ribs in the outer portion defining a plane, and wherein a chord of the convex contour defines an obtuse angle relative to the plane of the free edges of the ribs in the outer portion. a convex mirror fastened in the inner portion, a plain mirror fastened in the outer portion, the mirrors being angled so as to provide intersecting fields of vision, a support arm and a swingable connection and a mounting bracket movably attached to the support arm.
