ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process is disclosed for the production of a porous structure comprising an organic material dispersed in a binder. The process comprises mixing together a powdered organic material or a mixture of such materials or a powdered support loaded with such material and a powdered binder in a dry state, subjecting the obtained dry mixture to an agglomerating treatment, subjecting the formed agglomerate to a grinding treatment, and compressing the ground agglomerate so as to form a compact, all these operations being effected at a temperature below 340°K, preferably at room temperature.
