ABSTRACT In a record carrier for use in electro-erosion printers, the surface of the lacquer and consequently also the surface of the superimposed aluminum layer shows a multitude of shallow dimples in the µm range which are very small compared with the front surfaces of the print electrodes, which are of maximum uniformity, and whose spacing is equally in the µm range. With such a surface, the carrier has a much lower tendency to scratching and gliding traces.
