Abstract of the Disclosure Compositions are disclosed having about 30-80 weight percent of a poly(arylene sulfide) such as polyphenylene sulfide, about 20 to about 70 weight percent of a reinforcing material such as glass fiber, about 0.5 to about 20 weight percent of a low-density polyethylene and about 0.1 to about 5 weight percent of at least one organosilane such as gamma-aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane. Compositions are improved in appearance by addition of pigments. Mold life is improved by incorporation of an inhibitor such as a hydrotalcite. Such compositions are used in thick-walled molded articles having low internal cracking and electrical insulation resistance of at least 109 ohms.
