METHOD OF PRODUCING A MOISTURE-INSENSITIVE MOLDED LEATHER HOLSTER ABSTRACT A method of producing a molded leather holster capable of holding the holstered item in the holster by friction or pres- sure due to the molding and which is capable of retaining its molded shape in the presence of moisture, the method comprising preparing a laminate of at least one layer of leather and a lay- er of a heat moldable thermoplastic material, heating the lami- nate to the molding temperature of said thermoplastic material, inserting a forming core inside said holster and applying pres- sure from the outside of said holster while said temperature is reduced to a level below the molding temperature.
