The invention concerns a composition for in particular foliar application comprising a vehicle, standard constituents for application in particular foliar and an active substance, characterised in that the active substance consists of at least a plant protectant capable of stimulating pollen germination, selected among the group comprising: oligosaccharides with a degree of polymerisation up to 10 and comprising up to 10, preferably up to 5 and, more preferably still, two carbohydrate units bound by beta 1-3, beta 1-4, and alpha 1-3 bonds, particularly those of the group comprising laminaribiose, cellobiose, nigerose, laminaritriose, laminaritetraose, and laminaripentaose; the derivatives of the above oligosaccharides substituted on the free anomeric carbon atom or on the whole set of carbons bearing a free hydroxide by a radical selected in the group comprising: C1 to C5 alkyl radicals, preferably methyl radical; C1 to C5 acyl radicals, preferably acetyl radical; aryl radicals, preferably those of the pyridylamino type; Cx to Cy cycloalkyl radicals; amines; N-acetyl radical; and sulphate and phosphate radicals.

Composition pour application notamment foliaire comprenant un véhicule, les constituants classiques des compositions pour application notamment foliaire et une substance active, caractérisée par le fait que la substance active est constituée par au moins un produit phytosanitaire propre à stimuler la germination des grains de pollen, choisi dans le groupe comprenant: les oligosaccharides ayant un degré de polymérisation pouvant aller jusqu'à 10 et comportant jusqu'à 10, de préférence jusqu'à 5 et, plus préférentiellement encore, deux unités glucidiques liées par des liaisons .beta.1-3, .beta.1-4 et .alpha.1-3, notamment ceux du groupe comprenant le laminaribiose, le cellobiose, le nigerose, le laminaritriose, le laminaritétraose et le laminaripentaose; les dérivés des oligosaccharides précédents substitués sur l'atome de carbone anomérique libre ou sur l'ensemble des carbones porteurs d'un hydroxyde libre par un radical choisi dans le groupe comprenant: les radicaux alkyle en C1 à C5, de préférence le radical méthyle; les radicaux acyle en C1 à C5, de préférence le radical acétyle; les radicaux aryle, de préférence ceux de type pyridylamino; les radicaux cycloalkyle en C x à C y; les amines; le radical N-acétyle; et les radicaux sulfate et phosphate.
