An improved collapsible shipping container useful to provide packaging for goods in transit is fabricated from a lightweight plastic sheeting material having two parallel walls separated by spaced apart bridging walls to define a series of hollow cells. Hook and pile fastenings are provided which can be secured to retain the container in erected condition, but can be released to allow it to be folded flat when not in use. The container is particularly useful for the transit of clothing on hangers during household moves.
