The present invention provides an apparatus for holding and carrying a plurality of flexible medical containers (15). The carrier has a rack (10) having a plurality of plates (12) positioned in parallel spaced relation, the plates (12) defining a chamber between each pair of adjacent plates (12). A plurality of spacer assemblies (18) each extend through the rack (10) to connect the plates (12) and to maintain their spaced relationship. The spacer assemblies (18) are spaced along marginal edges of the rack (10) to define two opposed end walls (20), a bottom (22), and an opening (24) to the rack to allow access to each of the chambers. A flange (25) extends from one of the plates (12) and has a hole (27) that allows the carrier to be suspended. The invention further provides for a system for transferring fluids and a method for mixing solutions using the carrier.
Appareil permettant de tenir et de transporter une pluralité de récipients (15) médicaux souples. Le dispositif de transport comporte un râtelier (10) muni d'une pluralité de plaques (12) placées de façon parallèle, ces plaques (12) définissant une chambre entre chaque paire de plaques adjacentes (12). Une pluralité d'ensembles intercalaires (18) traversent le râtelier (10) pour relier les plaques (12) et maintenir leur espacement. Les ensembles intercalaires (18) sont disposés de façon espacée le long des bords marginaux du râtelier (10) de façon à définir deux parois (20) d'extrémité opposées, un fond (22) et une ouverture (24) du râtelier pour permettre l'accès à chacune des chambres. Un rebord (25) s'étend depuis l'une des plaques (12) et comporte un trou (27) qui permet de suspendre le dispositif de transport. L'invention concerne également un système de transfert des fluides et un procédé de mélange des solutions au moyen du dispositif de transport.
