A herbicide composition and its method of production are provided herein. The herbicide composition comprises an aqueous solution of about 5% to about 20 % (v/v) clove oil and about 4 % to about 20 % (v/v) acetic acid. The herbicide composition may also include other ingredients, for example, at least one of one or more salts, binding agents or particularly specified emulsifiers. The invention also discloses a method of killing one or more weeds, plants or grasses through the use of that herbicide composition.
