The invention relates to a system in space for reinforcing photosynthesis on earth, comprising a satellite (2) with at least one first optical assembly (3) intended for collecting sunlight, the position of which is stationary; a second optical assembly (6), smaller in size and with less inertia than the first optical element (3), intended for retransmitting the collected light with higher density of the retransmitted flux density than the collected flux density, and with an adjustable orientation; a remotely controllable means capable of adjusting the orientation of the second optical assembly (6); and a light-transmitting means (10) which transmits the collected light from the first optical assembly (3) to the second optical assembly (6). The second optical assembly retransmits light only in specified frequency bands around 450nm and 660nm.
Un système spatial de renforcement de la photosynthèse sur la terre comporte au moins un satellite de restransmission de la lumière solaire et applications. Le satellite (2) comporte au moins un premier ensemble optique (3) destiné à collecter de la lumière solaire, dont la position est fixe, un second ensemble optique (6) de taille et d'inertie plus faibles que celles du premier ensemble optique (3), qui est destiné à rediffuser la lumière collectée avec une densité du flux rediffusé plus élevée que la densité du flux collecté, et dont l'orientation est susceptible d'être modifiée, des moyens commandables à distance, qui sont susceptibles de régler l'orientation du second ensemble optique (6), et des moyens de transmission de lumière (10) qui transmettent la lumière collectée du premier ensemble optique (3) au second ensemble optique (6). Le deuxième ensemble optique rediffuse la lumière uniquement dans des bandes de fréquences définies respectivement autour de 450 nm et 660 nm.
