There is provided a new and improved apparatus for use in attaching a coupling to a tube assembly in which the tube assembly comprises an outer tube made of a first material and at least one inner tube co-axial with and parallel to the outer tube. The inner tube is made of a second material. The coupling comprises at least one tubular extension to receive within it in a close fit a portion of the inner tube and an outside and to engage in close fit over a portion of the outer tube. The apparatus comprises a stationary die which comprises a tube-receiving channel for receiving a part of the outer tube and at least one lower retardant member within the die made of a third material. There is also provided a transversely movable die having a tube-receiving channel for engaging an opposite part of the outer tube and at least one upper retardant member within the moveable die made of a fourth material. An axially movable die having a recess to house said coupling is also provided. There are further provided means to move the transversely movable die toward the stationary die whereby the lower and upper retardant members are brought into interference contact with the outer tube and means to move the axially movable die toward an end of the stationary and the transversely moveable dies and wherein the co-efficient of friction between the first material and the third material or the fourth material is greater than the co-efficient of friction between the first material and the second material.
La présente invention a pour objet une nouvelle installation utilisée pour la mise en place d'un raccord de tuyauterie comportant un tuyau extérieur fabriqué d'un premier matériau et au moins un tuyau intérieur coaxial et parallèle au tuyau extérieur. Le tuyau intérieur est fabriqué d'un deuxième matériau. Le raccord comporte au moins un prolongement tubulaire à l'intérieur duquel une partie du tuyau intérieur peut être ajustée, et une partie extérieure pouvant être ajustée sur une portion du tuyau extérieur. L'installation comporte une filière stationnaire définissant un passage pour recevoir une partie du tuyau extérieur, ainsi qu'un organe de ralentissement inférieur fabriqué d'un troisième matériau. Une filière transversale mobile pouvant recevoir la partie opposée du tuyau extérieur comporte au moins un organe de ralentissement supérieur fabriqué d'un quatrième matériau. L'installation comporte également une filière axiale mobile à l'intérieur de laquelle un évidement permet de loger le raccord en question. Un mécanisme permet de déplacer la filière transversale mobile peut vers la filière stationnaire, mettant les organes ralentisseurs inférieur et supérieur en contact avec le tuyau extérieur; un dispositif permet de déplacer la filière axiale mobile vers une extrémité des filières stationnaire et transversale mobile, où le coefficient de frottement entre les premier et troisième ou quatrième matériaux est supérieur au coefficient de frottement entre le premier matériau et le deuxième matériau.
